Online Translation Policy:
Use of an online translator to translate more than one word at a time is strictly FORBIDDEN and is CHEATING. I will know easily if you have done this and you WILL be referred to the honor council.
Acceptable online resources include:
- wordreference.com (This is a dictionary that can translate one word at a time.)
- lingro.com (This is a unique website that can take any website and make it so that when you click on a single word, that word is translated for you. You can also add that word to a "word list" to study after you complete the reading. This is a powerful site that helps you read more advanced material without translating the entire text to English.)
The Spirit of this Policy: Students must use their minds as much as possible only seeking translation for specific words. Translating an entire sentence, paragraph or more is cheating.
